Basic Anatomy

This is a 40 min drawing of the human anatomy using a graphite stick. There is some good detail in the shading as on the leg it can be seen that it is curved. There is foreshortening and a good perspective as you can see the difference when looking at the leg and feet and then the arm and hand which are getting smaller as they are further away. Some more measurement could have been done and there are many different values as the model is lying and the light is coming from the right hand side. There are some smaller tonal changes in some area on the body because of the light. The shading is good as it shows some of the muscles as the shading follows the direction of the muscles.
