Composition

Due to the composition of the drawing the focal point becomes the large jug in the background. The shading also helps to attract the person interest in the focal point. There is overlapping in the drawing with an object in the foreground, middle ground and the background and there also being no orphaned objects. There is some negative space in-between the flower jug and the large jug. An implied line can also be seen in the drawing going from the top of the large jug to the flowers and then down to the cloth. Then it ends up going right to the small vase. And then back up to the large jug. There is a sense of balance in the composition and there are many values of light and dark in there.  The tones have been used well to show the surfaces of the objects as they are reflecting the surroundings and there is good depth within the drawing. There is good finishing in the drawing as there is a lot of detail on most of the image. The cloth could have had more detail but there is a great balance between the cloth and the objects which are highly detailed, even reflecting doors on their surface. The drawing is a 40 minute drawing of arrangements and composition.
